About the Event
On 4 June 2025, the European Commission will host an online Info Day focused on the New European Bauhaus (NEB) Facility as part of the Horizon Europe Work Programme 2025.
The NEB Facility is a cross-cutting, multi-annual initiative (2025–2027) that supports the sustainable transformation of the built environment through design, innovation and community engagement. It aims to make citizens active partners in the green and digital transitions, while fostering inclusion, trust, and aesthetic quality in everyday living spaces.
Focus of the Info Day
The event is aimed at anyone planning to apply for Horizon Europe funding in the context of the New European Bauhaus. Participants will gain insight into the core objectives of the NEB Facility and learn how to align their project ideas with the programme’s values and impact areas.
At the centre of the session are three thematic “destinations” that reflect the strategic priorities of the NEB Facility’s Research & Innovation component:
- How to connect the green transition with social inclusion and participatory democracy
- How to implement circular and regenerative design approaches in the built environment
- How to develop innovative funding mechanisms and business models to support neighbourhood transformation
The Info Day offers a concise introduction to each of these destinations, followed by a live Q&A session where participants can ask questions submitted in advance via Slido.
